Sensei Dave Stuart is a 5th degree black belt in Budoshin Jujitsu and a 1st degree black belt in American Combat Jujitsu. He has been training since 1994 and his studies have included Chin-na Karate, Kung Fu, Kali, and Brazilian Jujitsu in addition to his Japanese-style Jujitsu training.
He has been an instructor for over 13 years, starting as the student president and assistant instructor for the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Jujitsu Club. Sensei Dave has been teaching at Baltimore School of Self Defense since 2014, and prides himself on expressing the practical application of the art.
Sensei Dave is also a US Army Veteran who served as a non-commissioned officer supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
